| OUR LADY OF PENRHYS, RHONDDA: |
The last advertised Rhondda Mass was on Saturday, May 2nd when 27 people were present, some, as ever, from other Missions. The weather was fair and the following bring-and-share lunch soon spilled out into Glenys’ and Dai’s garden. One of our Rhondda congregation, Mrs Eve Talbot, has offered to host a Mass sometime this summer and we thank her for that.
The Rhondda Sunday Mass was on 17th May at 11am, again in Treorchy when Father Flynn reported 32 people – and some from the various Missions, including four people from our Cardiff Central Mission who came for the first time and received a very hearty welcome.
Sunday July 19th is of course the Solemnity of Our Lady of Penrhys and there will be Solemn Mass at 11am in Treorchy, followed by a Celebration Buffet. During the afternoon the annual Pilgrimage to the mountain Shrine of Our Lady of Penrhys will take place and there will be Rosary and Benediction at the Shrine. We hope for a really first class turn-out by all our South Wales and Monmouthshire Faithful.
The June Masses are Tuesday, 16th at 6pm and Sunday, 28th at 11am – thanks to Glenys and Dai.

SS JOHN FISHER AND THOMAS MORE, ROCHDALE: |
Work on the new church building (a disused private nursery school) has been slow for the simple reason that Moira’s sons and other members of the congregation are of necessity undertaking the extensive repairs themselves, and the budget is tight!! High plumbing charges has been one problem! However the renovation continues and hopefully with the summer evenings more progress will be seen.
The pattern of Rochdale Masses continues and Moira reported 26 people on Thursday, May 28th when there was Solemn Mass and Rosary at 6pm. Father Flynn had already been three days with the Quinns and there was a daily Mass during that time. We are so happy that the Rochdale and Manchester Missions work very closely together. The June Mass will be offered on Tuesday, 30th at 6pm and will be followed by a Summer Supper Party. The Manchester folk will attend. And the Rochdale people will travel to the next Urmston Mass on Monday, June 8th at 1pm which will be the Mass of Trinity Sunday. Thanks to you ALL! |

CORPUS CHRISTI: |
Is an Holyday of Obligation and falls on Thursday, June 11th. Please consult Clergy and Guardians for times of Masses. We do hope that our Faithful will be prepared to travel to their nearest Mass, as indeed you usually do. Solemn Masses: Shepherds Bush at Noon and Hampstead at 7pm. We hope some of our Sussex Faithful can attend one of these London Masses. Father Flynn will offer two Masses on the Feast: Ystradgynlais at 11am and Abertillery at 6pm. Bishop Dunlavey’s weekday Masses are at 10am.

| SO MANY LOVELY FEASTS IN JUNE!! |
Apart from Corpus Christi, we have The Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Eucharistic Heart. There are too Saint John Baptist’s Nativity, Saints Peter & Paul, Saint Anthony of Padua and Saint Alban! As we’ve made clear on several occasions, there are many more Masses offered than those advertised. Clergy are prepared to travel by arrangement so please consult us.

| THE MISSION OF THE INFANT OF PRAGUE AT PRAGUE: |
Last month we reported on the great work at Pardubice and district in East Bohemia; this time we mention the work of Father Pavel Zezulek and his people in Prague itself. Father offers daily Mass in the large Oratory he has created in his old family Villa up at Bila Hora, the home he shares with his sister Marta and her son Matias. For Mass times consult him.
Sunday Sung Mass at 10am when around 40 traditional Catholics gather, some coming from other districts of Prague. Down in the Pankrac District (our own St. Pancras!) there are three weekday Masses offered in the homes of our Faithful and a Sunday evening Mass at 7pm in a small Marian shrine dedicated to” Pani Marie a Sv. Pankrac” which is already rather full with the 30 people who attend. Mnohokrat dekujeme!!

| |
| DO PLEASE KEEP THOSE SECOND CLASS STAMPS COMING!! |
They are a source of real income to the ArchConfraternity, helping tremendously with the postal bill for the despatch of the monthly Notes. As we’ve already stressed: many of our older Faithful don’t have access to a computer – and thus to our Web Site – and really do rely on the “old fashioned word” as a vital means of communication. Particular thanks to all who sent stamps during May. Please send a June Donation for the Sacred Heart. Cheques should be made payable to “The Traditional Roman Catholic Church” and sent to Bishop Anthony at the address at the top of the Kalendar or to Mr.Simon Gibbs, our ArchConfraternity Treasurer, at:
Gibbs & Co., Blackwell House, Guildhall Yard, London,EC2V.5AE.
God will bless you. Holy Mass is offered monthly for all our benefactors.

| |
| OUR THANKS ARE DUE TO |
the following people for their recent great generosity: Father Leslie Saywell; Dame Patricia Earl-Williams; Margaret Wyatt; Father Eric Bilton; Moira Quinn; Ruth Seagle; Peggy Derwent; Anne Riley.
Your support greatly aids the work of the ArchConfraternity. THANKS ALSO to Bishop Robert McBride who has made two sets of beautiful prayer cards both with the ArchConfraternity prayer; the first set features the official & pleasing picture of Our Lady of Victories; the second set shows Bishop Anthony offering Holy Mass in Brno at the Minorite Friary where we have a Mission. AND THANKS TOO to Father Emilio Tundidor for the truly beautiful Ikon of The Annunciation of Our Lady which he brought from Madrid for the Hampstead Oratory.

| SAINT ALOYSIUS, BATTERSEA: |
The June Sunday Mass will be at Noon on 21st, followed by lunch. Magda & the congregation have been planning a local leaflet campaign and Monday, 15th June has been set aside entirely for this.
|
| |
| ORDER OF ST. PANCRAS: |
Robin Saikia and Kevin Soraghan were installed as Knights of the Order following the Pontifical Solemn Mass at 7pm on St. Pancras Day, May 12th. The other Knights and Dames renewed their vows.
|
| |
| OUR LADY OF MERCY, HOLBORN: |
A leaflet campaign has also been planned by Ruth and the Holborn stalwarts and has already been put into action. The June Mass is on Wednesday 3rd at Noon and will be followed by leafleting at University College, London, undertaken by our students. Many, many thanks to you ALL.

| THE WORK IN SCOTLAND |
goes well and we thank Canon Anson, Jenny Edwards and Gerald Wilson. Our two Friday Masses at Dundee are very well supported, and the Forfar and Arbroath Masses continue as usual. We have our own building at Arbroath (Saint Blane). Father Leslie Saywell and the Holy Guardian Angels Faithful at Bo’ness, West Lothian, also possess their own building, thanks to the Borough Council. Attendances average twelve to fifteen.
